there is only one instance in my /S/L/E/ folder - so i am not sure what other kext i need to remove?

Check in EFI/Clover/kexts. And in /L/E.

Also, you can get a list of non-signed kexts by rebuilding cache:

sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions && sudo kextcache -u /

RehabMan; thanks for all of your help. was able to get this fixed and Mieze from Insanelymac just saved my life. She is amazing and basically rewrote the driver for my NIC and now it is working perfectly.

I know that TonyMac and MacMan are working on testing the MSI x99S mobo right now as per one of their next guides and that mobo has the same E2400 nic - so this kext should work for their build too.

Now i need to figure out my SMBios to make sure that I have my MLB and ROM working properly.
