Adding/Using HiDPI custom resolutions

Setting DVMT pre alloc to 128M in the BIOS solved the issue, it seems. Only after setting that parameter and removing
IntelGraphicsDVMTFixup.kext the 1600x900 hiDPI resolution became accessible.

Not surprising. Larger DVMT-prealloc usually required when rendering at high resolution.

I don't see any DVMT options in my Dell's laptop BIOS.

Here is the only option I found that may relate. Is it this one?

None. The DVMT setting is not accessible from Dell BIOS interface.

Google how to change DVMT value for Dell system.
I tried using IntelGraphicsDMVTFixup kext but it won't solve the problem. Does it mean if I change DVMT value will solve my problem?
