I think that is your problem. Without EDID info to identify the monitor properly, you will not be able to provide an override.

Maybe it is time for a hardware upgrade (your monitor or the adapter/cable). VGA is so 1980s... :)
If your monitor supports DVI-D, you could use a DP->DVI-D cable.

I can provide all EDID infos as i have a Win10 laptop next to me, and give it to SwitchResX, i tried it.
Doesn't work so.
Maybe a way to make work VGA directly on the Hackintosh ?

I bought a dvi <-> DP cable
Got it tomorrow.
Will tell you
Thx

It won't help as the graphics drivers are not detecting the monitor properly anyway...

No. If your monitor doesn't support DVI-D, get a new monitor.

I mean, may i use my EliteBook VGA output to connect it directly (instead of DVI)

Unfortunately, that's what i checked in your AWESOME tutorial !
Will let you know next with the cable ;)
Thanks for all INCREDIBLE RehabMan
