Why

6990M is not the same as a 6990 desktop.

And as for right now there is no support for any 69XX GPUs in Snow Leopard or Lion

It not about my desktop.
It's about my laptop a clevo p170hm which has an 6990M

plz add 6990m, My laptop is Alienware M18x, i7 2720QM built in HD3000 didn't work correctly.
 
Its not happening. i'm on the M17xR3, i've been trying to get this to work since july. Something is weird about the LVDS, its not routing correctly to our internal display. Maybe somebody smarter than I can figure this out. I doubt the problem is in chameleon though.

Hi, man, have you get it work? I have an Alienware M18X, with 6990M, but I have no idea where to find the Ati.c: and add it. would you plz show some details, Thanks.
