I'm on a Dell 15" XPC 9560 that I set up 18 months ago using Catalina and Clover.

My question today is, how can I add a new USB WiFi dongle? I upgraded my home connection and have a new XDO 6B29. I downloaded the driver, installed it and restarted.

I can see it in System Report as shown below. If my old dongle is connected, it works fine as en0 and the new one appears as en3, but unconnected. If I unplug the old one, I can use the same menu in the menu bar to connect the new one at the Wifi level (still showing as en3), but there's no internet connection and it drops the WiFi connection in about 30 seconds.

Is there an easy way to add this, or am I playing Jenga?
