Hello.

After inject DSDT with this guide: https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/268219-acpi-backlight-driver/, backlight slider is available, but doesn't work. Log shows that:

ACPIBacklightPanel: ACPI Methods _DOS _BCL _BCM _BQC found. Device path: _SB.PNLF
ACPIBacklightPanel: getIndexForLevel(0) not found in _BCL table !
ACPIBacklightPanel: Version 1.2
I hope someone know how to fix it, thanks.

Thank you very much, I have managed to solve it.

I have a question, since Sierra and High Sierra my laptop have a problem with mouse pointer, in El Capitan this did not happen, I do not know if copying CoreDisplay from El Capitan to Sierra or High Sierra could be solved, since according to what I read in that way the devices that worked in an earlier version and they do not work in a later one by copying this file, thanks.

This is an example of mouse pointer bug: https://i.stack.imgur.com/9RmAH.gif, https://i.stack.imgur.com/9B63g.jpg
