hi all,

I'm trying to install Sierra on a old Dell 760 (just experimenting) When I tried to boot getting ACPI error as shown below in the attached picture

ACPI Error: [PCI0.ISA_.P40c] Namespace lookup failure
ACPI Exception: AE_NOT_FOUND, ..... IMG_6490.JPG

Got Yosemite installed using chimera not sure if clover will work

Runing Sierra on my optiplex 760 E8400 with 4gb ddr2 and Nvidia Asus 210.To pass the problem of ACPI, you need to boot with your USB key (clover inside) then, go to :

Option > ACPI patching > DSDT Fix mask (0x00000000) > and unselect all the case :)
Boot args : -x (I can not remember if I needed it or not) ^^"

By unseating them all, it's OK.

I suspect that there is one or two boxes in reality that is problematic but I have not yet had time to determine which, that being said, this poses no problem and you will be Able to boot on the installation.
