Hi, Thank you for reading my post first,
my laptop specs:
acer swift5 laptop
intel i5-7200U
intel HD Graphics 620
8gb ddr3 ram
hp ex900 m.2 250gb
Bios setting:
Bios trackpad mode is "basic"
(when I turn it into advanced, my keyboard doesn't work)
What I've installed in my S/L/E is like this:
just in case, I uploaded this picture as well:
what I've done so far is
1. followed this "https://voodooi2c.github.io/#Installation/Installation"
(Sorry for the language, I am Korean. Thx.)
My ACPI id is SB.PIC0.I2C1.TPAD
this is my ACPI id's location from IORegExplorer and there is no IOInterruptSpecifiers, so I just skipped the lines under neath on the website
and just installed the kext they mentioned I should install.
2. followed this "https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-acer-swift-5-sf514-53t-whiskey-lake-macos10-14-5.277618/",
and I was able to get it like this:
(Sorry for the language, I am Korean. Thx.)
Specifically what I did is I removed the plugin kexts, VoodooPS2touchpad.kext and VoodooPS2mouse.kext, in VoodooPS2Controller.kext to make keyboard work and dose not conflict with VoodooI2C.kext.
And then, I got that signal like the picture above.
but my trackpad, still doesn't work somehow....
3. I tried to adjust my DSDT following the posts above 1,2 and I found that my DSDT.dsl file is little different as others.
There is TPL1 at SB.PCI0.I2C1 where TPAD should be seated
I was curious that where my TPAD is located and it was here:
and I have no idea what I should do...
it's been 9days I tried to get the trackpad, but I think it's now out of my hand. It's like professional part I reckon.
I will attach my EFI and DSDT.dsl file. Plz give me a just little hand.
again, Sorry for my short English level, I am not a native English speaker... Thx!
