Hello lovely Hackintosh users,

Recently I made a research on possible ultrabooks that I might want to purchase this summer.
I now have to decide between the Macbook Pro 13 inch Late 2013 (with Retina) and the Acer Aspire S3-392g Ultrabook. Price is not a crucial point, since they're both in the same pricerange.

But before I make a decision, I would like to know if the Acer Aspire S3-392g is OSX compatible?
Anybody here who has the same ultrabook and could share some experience here?

Thank you all for your help.

You might do a search in the various laptop support forums and see if you find any information...

But if price is not important, don't hesitate... purchase the MacBookPro 13" -- it is an amazing laptop. Or even the MacBook Air 13". There is no substitute for the real thing, and hacks are a lot of work to get running and keep running. That and there will always be things that don't work correctly.

If what you want is a Mac, and you have the money, go for a real Mac. Hacking a PC laptop is really about the challenge of it, not the utility of it.

Of course, it's possible to install OS X on Acer Aspire s3-392g, but there're many things that won't work. For example, it uses "Intel Wireless-N 7260" and i didn't found any driver for OS X that could enable using internet via wi-fi.

Intel WiFi is not supported and must be replaced with compatible hardware.
