Hi stephane654 . My Clover file is attached minus themes.

Thank you very much!

Please provide complete details in your profile/signature
("Personal Details" link from "profile menu" in upper right corner of this site)

Mobo: manufacturer/model + bootloader(Clover/Chameleon/Chimera)
CPU: detailed CPU model + motherboard chipset
Graphics: all graphics devices + laptop internal screen resolution

For example, typical Ivy laptop:
Mobo: HP ProBook 4540s (Clover)
CPU: i5-3320m/HM76
Graphics: HD4000, 1366x768

Use CPU-Z on Windows to find CPU (Core iX-xxx) and motherboard chipset (HMxx), and graphics capabilities. For a laptop, these details are important and affect critical installation procedures.

Note: When specifying your bootloader, if using Clover legacy, please be sure to specify "Clover legacy"). Specifying "Clover" will be assumed as "Clover UEFI"

The Brightness slider is working now in Displays - remapped keys with keyboard shortcuts.

Most things are working just need a bit of fine tuning. Probably will buy a replacement wifi card if I feel like pulling the laptop apart.
did you format your usb as GPT or MBR? I'm following this guide: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-booting-the-os-x-installer-on-laptops-with-clover.148093/

Your laptop probably works with either. The two-partition MBR setup is easier to work with as you don't have the mount the EFI partition manually to make adjustments to the Clover setup.
great, that's what i used. just needed a confirmation.

I used Unibeast as described in https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...ierra-on-any-supported-intel-based-pc.200564/ . The 16 GB install USB was formatted OS X Extended (Journaled) in a GUID (GPT) Partition .

On the laptop hard drive I have kept the original Windows 10 EFI partition, and installed Ubuntu and MacOS as described in multibooting-UEFI https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-multibooting-uefi.197352/ . I used an Ubuntu boot usb and Gparted to resize partitions. Resized the EFI (ESP) partition to over 200 MB to make room for MacOS to install install it's EFI clover files. I deleted the small MSR ( Microsoft reserved partition) without affecting Windows 10.

You will have to access the Acer Bios (press F2 quickly) to allow the install USB to be recognised by the EFI Bios. Go to Boot menu and make sure Secure Boot is enabled - you will have to disable this eventually for MacOS to work. Then go to Security Menu and find "Select an EFI file as trusted" press Enter. Then you will see USB0 (or if doing Mac hard drive partition HDD0) press enter. Find EFI enter, Clover enter and finally select cloverx64.efi. You will be asked to add file to the database and type in Boot description e.g MacOS USB press enter. It will be saved under the name you choose. Press Esc and return to boot menu and disable Secure boot for MacOS to operate. Exit Saving changes and reboot. Press F12 to get the Boot manager and select the Boot description you made. I found this information in a Ubuntu forum http://askubuntu.com/questions/627416/acer-aspire-e15-will-not-dual-boot

I hope this assists with the install.
