Hello, Thank you in advance for any and all help with this topic. I have searched many forums and found many dead ends. Hopefully we a can resolve the issues so others can learn and benefit from this. :)

Specs:
Acer Aspire 5733 (pew71)

Core i5 m560 @ 2.67 Ghz
Intel HD Graphics
Atheros AR5B125 Wifi
Broadcom Net Link
Realtek HD Audio

What i have already done:

1. Followed general Unibeast Mavericks install directions
2. In order to boot I had to remove 2 kexts from "/System/Library/Extensions" (AppleIntelHDGraphics.kext, AppleIntelHDGraphicsFB.kext)
3. Passed these args to boot (-v -x -f PCIRootUID=0 BusRatio=16)
4. Ran Multibeast installer with EasyBeast

Issue:

Boots and runs in safe boot, but i have no graphics support, sound, lan, wifi, track pad and cannot boot in normal mode.

I get this error on normal boot:
KIMG0001.JPG

All help and advice is appreciated and welcome thank you.

1st gen Intel HD: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/286092-guide-1st-generation-intel-hd-graphics-qeci/

Audio: Best result with patched AppleHDA. Google 'patch AppleHDA guide'. Search for suitable AppleHDA or patch it yourself. Apply appropriate DSDT patches.

DSDT patches you need for AppleHDA: https://github.com/RehabMan/Laptop-DSDT-Patch
Apply: "Audio Layout 12" (change layout-id from 12 to the layout-id used by the patched AppleHDA)
Apply: "IRQ Fix"

WiFi: Depends on having compatible hardware. Use DPCIManager->PCI List to find out what you have. Compatible chipsets and the procedures for making them work are covered here: http://www.tonymacx86.com/network/104850-guide-airport-pcie-half-mini-v2.html

Ethernet: What Ethernet chipset do you have? Use DPCIManager->PCIList to find out.

Trackpad: Depends on what trackpad is in the laptop. Find out the manufacturer (Synaptics/ELAN/ALPS,etc)

Also, EasyBeast not a good idea. Instead: http://www.tonymacx86.com/mavericks...-sandy-bridge-ivy-bridge-haswell-laptops.html

Wifi: Ar9485
lan: bcm57780

my main concern is getting the wifi to work, it will make my work a lot easier. Right now I am dual booting win7 and mavericks and have to reboot download files then boot my vm in win7, transfer files to sd card and reboot to os x.

I am not sure on how to patch the dsdt.asl either maybe I am missing some thing i keep getting errors during compile and cant save the patched dsdt

AR9485 is not supported. You must replace it. See here for compatible cards: http://www.tonymacx86.com/network/104850-guide-airport-pcie-half-mini-v2.html

As for Ethernet, look here: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/to...5m-bcm5787m-and-bcm5906m-nic-driver-3264-bit/

It is normal to get errors with OEM DSDTs. You need to correct the errors before applying any patches.

how do i correct the errors in dsdt,
would it be helpful to post the results?

Post the DSDT.

Also,

Please provide complete details in your profile/signature
(Profile/Settings link in upper right corner of this site)

System: manufacturer/model
CPU: detailed CPU model + motherboard chipset
Graphics: all graphics devices + laptop internal screen resolution

For example, typical Ivy laptop:
System: HP ProBook 4540s
CPU: i5-3320m/HM76
Graphics: HD4000, 1366x768

Use CPU-Z on Windows to find CPU (Core iX-xxx) and motherboard chipset (HMxx). For a laptop, these details are important and affect critical installation procedures.
