Hello guys, I've finally managed to get my intended laptop setup to work. It's a triple boot setup with OS X 10.6.3, Windows 7 x64 and Fedora 13 x64. I'm having some issues with regards to graphics acceleration and audio on the Mac side of things though and I'd like to ask for some help regarding that.

For graphics acceleration, I'm not sure how I should turn that on.
For audio, there's none D:

Here's my lspci output from Fedora 13:

Oh and if anyone is interested on how to get the same triple boot setup to work, I can come up with a guide somewhere in this forum (still new so I don't know where to shove it in)

Thanks for the reply. Truth is I didn't really check if I did have graphics acceleration enabled before I posted this thread (I was lacking sleep from setting up the triple boot system). I did a check just now and found out that it's already enabled. That pretty much scratches graphics acceleration from the list of things to do. I'd really appreciate any help on getting the sounds working though :D

@NS_mac

are you using the intel HD as your graphics?

I have intel HD and a 310m 1Gb in my laptop, SL 10.6.3 is only finding the intel HD and I am getting no quartz etc so cannot run many of my programs....

any advice on how I should go about this?

Stuart

anyone?

I've got into SL 10.6.3, macbook pro1.3 updates panics near end of update as does 10.6.4.

my k52jc laptop is recoqnised as macbook pro6, and I have the macbook pro supported kernal installed as provided by multibeast (thanks). Finally I have nvidia in preferences, but on a pcie bus (no memory status showing) and I believe the laptop screen is running from intel as provided by the i5 intel gpu.

so no quartz etc and therefore no logic.... please please help....

Is there some way of switching the port used for gpu?

cheers stuart
