Acer Aspire 3810tzg no hdmi audio!

Hi all i have an Acer aspire 3810tzg notebook with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330 with fully working QE/CI and hdmi out on tv works perfect but no hdmi audio i'm running latest version of Lion fully updated 10.7.2 and would love to get hdmi audio up running any help much appreciiated just not sure which way to go i'm no good at dsdt editing is it needed im happy with using kexts if theres a workaround ?

The dsdt edits are mandatory and you are the one that has to do them. Regarding the kext edits, you are on your own there as well. See bcc9's post at http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=249642. No guarantee it will work at all.

Only other choice is Voodoo.

Thanks for reply i'll try voodoohda first see if that works if not i'll try the dsdt edit patching, either way i'll post my findings if i have any success.
