now running Sierra 10.12.4 ... oops.
iMac Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015 build
4.01Ghz Intel Core i7
32GB 2133 MHz DDR4
Nvidia Chip Model 7mb > MSI GeForce GTX 970 4GD5T OC Video Card
GIGABYTE GA-Z170X-Gaming 7 Socket 1151 Intel Z170 Chipset
So, I accidentally updated Sierra (i know, i know) and then was forced to update the Nvidia drivers. Now it won't load past the 25% mark of the apple logo loading screen. It just shuts off completely. It drops out during verbose mode too.
The only way I've been able to get it past the loading screen is by using nv_disable=1. I tried using nvda_drv=1 after that but it just cut out and shut off again. I've been scoring the forums for the last few hours but running out of ideas here.
Thank you in advance.
