Hi all,
Does anyone have one of these coolers?
Getting annoyed at the noise from my stock cooler on the GFX card.
However, this card - being heavily cost reduced for maximum profit - does not have the 4 pin PWM fan connector that's on reference 4870s. Or even a 3 pin one...just 2 pins.
So, probably I'd need to power the fans from the main PSU using the (supplied?) cable at 7V.
Which, if not quiet and also producing good airflow sufficient for full-load cooling, may just make the make the whole point to replace the stock cooler all a bit pointless. I don't want to have to mess with manual variable speed controllers. Just set it (ie: 7V), and leave it.
I don't plan to overclock the graphics card.
(But hey, I might, it if were really cool and quiet!).
