Hi everybody,

I wanted to share this nifty utility I found to control the volume of hdmi or displayport speakers: https://github.com/Tyilo/MonitorControl.OSX
You will have to compile it yourself. If it's not something you are confident doing, you can also find a precompiled (but not signed) version here http://down.dandu.be/MonControl.zip, it's from a French Mac blog (http://www.journaldulapin.com/2017/...roler-le-volume-dun-ecran-externe-sous-macos/).

I find it easier to use than Soundflower, and this has been a nice quality of life improvement for me. No longer am I becoming deaf because of full-volume Skype sessions!

I hope it'll help some of you as well!
