Very much a work in progress and my 2010 MBP is starting to complain about memory!. But the G5 heat shield is making progress, the grill is made up from four parts, hence the horrific gaps!, it's not quite the right shape either, the shield is 203mm (8") x 190mm (7.5"). Do I like the G5 in there!, would probably look better smaller.

I made a small piece of Power Mac grille available for download. Join together to create sculptures or just incorporate into a Mod.

Here's another 3D print resource, I have attached the .stl below. If you happen to have a Late 2009 Mac mini and are planning on installing a GA—H110MSTX motherboard, this may be of interest to you. Originally created by phunguss and modified by me, I combined design elements from the 2019 Mac Pro grille with 2009 Mac mini rear IO. You can view the object in 3D by following the link below. It's still a WIP but it will fit 120mm² print area if rotated 45º.

Just discovered you can preview the downloaded DAE/.stl in Quick Look and explore the 3D model in High Sierra, also works in preview. I modified the rear again by putting 5 whole vents.

Wow, you can see how badly aligned the hollow spheres are in Blender.
