A few questions on power management... please

I'm still kind of new to the whole Hackintosh world. Can someone please help me out with these questions?

-Is there any way to get power management working without internet?
(I built my Hackintosh without a modem)

-Are there any serious issues which could damage my hardware if I don't get power management working?

-Can software licensing be effected if I don't get power management working?
