Hey! I've recently installed macOS Sierra 10.12.5 on my MSI GS70 2QE Stealth Pro.
Most of the things work (except the Intel Wireless 8265-AC Wifi, Audio (speakers, headphone jack, microphone), brightness control) AND my nvidia gtx 970m 3GB GDDR5. I was curious if anyone knows how to enable it. I don't care that much about the graphic card power, but the GPU has an extra fan and a led indicator and if the drivers are not installed correctly the fan is spinning at 4600RPM :/
I have to use the bootflag "nv_disable=1" otherwise the laptop will abort the boot process... "nvda_dvr=1" doesn't change anything because I have keep "nv_disable=1" I have installed the Nvidia web drivers (378.05.05.15f01) but it automatically sets "OS X Default Graphic Driver" as default and if I tick "NVIDIA Web Driver" and reboot it's back to OS X drivers.... Anybody knows how to fix that?
