From what I've read, it is nothing more than a binned i7-8700K. So there is no reason that it won't work. The main question to ask is whether it's worth the extra money being asked for it. If you run it at stock speeds, no it's not worth the extra cash. If for some reason you need an i7 that can reach 5.2 GHz when over clocked then it might be worth it. Personally I would not pay the extra money to get one of these. It's mostly just hype. I've seen many report that overclocking any 8700K to 5GHz is easy to do. Is another .2 GHz of clock speed really a big deal ?
