RESOLVED: 8.1 fails with unsupported operation

my bad - old habits. It used to be possible to run Multibeast "again" - after properly installing everything, -without- having to boot from the USB stick first. I did this any number of times to install updates.

Now, as it turns out, MultiBeast (at least for me) will not run unless I have booted from the USB stick, and then chosen the El Cap drive.

I restarted selecting the USB stick; then chose the El Cap drive; and -then- ran MultiBeast, without error.

I hope this helps someone, else my apologies for the wasted bandwidth.
