64GB SSD for dual boot

I was thinking of getting a Kingston SSD
cost is $75 for 64GB after rebate

I'd put my 750gb sata in optical bay

question:

is the 64gb SSD plenty for dual OS dual boot
from same SSD with OS X and Win7 pro ?

Would my programs or should my programs also install into the SSD for most speed?

I have no idea what kind of programs you are looking to run but....

Windows 7 takes like ~20GB

Lion takes about 15-20GB

My Lion install is 7GB on a 60GB SSD and my Windows 7 is probably around 40GB on another 60GB SSD. I would think you will be okay with a 64GB SSD. I have an older 120GB HDD that is partitioned and backs up each of these SSD's. If I had your drives, I would assume it's gonna be okay. The common consensus would probably be most of us would feel better with a little more breathing room.

Maybe 128gb is the way to go
still affordable
the 256gb would be ideal but the price is not

i cant recommend a 128gb ssd for dual boot. i would say its to less. ive got on my own a 128gb and gave it try with win7 and mac. on the one hand i had strange performance problems on both systems and to lesse capacity. at least i installed one systen on internal hdd and one external. everything works fine
