6 Series Mobo: Can't Download High Sierra

It's probably because my system description is that of an unsupported Mac , Mac Pro 3.1.

I'm running 10.11.6 with Gigabyte legacy BIOS. I have taken a renewed interest in this project because I understand that my board will update to UEFI BIOS. I have a plan for that. Now I need to download High Sierra. Can I change my system description to one which will allow me to download the newest Mac OS?

My board is GA-Z68MA-D2H-B3 and the rest is as in my sig below.

Yes, you can't download High Sierra with this SMBIOS.

Change Mac Pro SMBIOS to iMac 12.x and should be work fine. I recommend Clover Configurator to do this.

Thank you for confirming that it would be easy. I went ahead and used MultiBeast. It took just a minute and all was golden. Now I have High Sierra to work with. Next thing I have to do is gather up the confidence to flash the BIOS to the UEFI version.
