Im stuck at [ PCI configuration begin ]

In step 17:

Now open up disk utility, select the USB drive, and then click “Verify Disk Permissions”

Verify disk permissions was greyed out. Way to fix that? I skipped it. Is that why im having these issues? Thanks

machine: X99Pro 5960x R9290

after 2-WEEKS of keep trying to get past the PCI configuration begin,
today, I finally get into the installation screen and I am installing yosemite now.

my way to do it,
create installation USB by unibeast 5.20
del everything in Extra\Extension
del the 2 files in S\L\E
rename the fakesmc.kext to FakeSMC.kext in the 4 replace files
install the 4 files into S\L\E by kext wizard
install the 4 files into Extra\Extension
repair permissions+rebuild cache for both Extra and S\L\E by kext wizard
patched the kernel
make all 4 files in Extra\extension hidden
make all 4 files in S\L\E hidden
boot the USB with -v -f npci=0x2000 kext-dev-mode=1 PCIRootUID=1

it will boot to PCI CONFIGURATION BEGIN, and stay there for around 4-5 minutes,
then it goes straight to the installation screen.

@Skozzy, please update your profile (personal details) with your Motherboard or Make/Model, CPU and Graphics Card.
If you have multiple systems add them to your signature or build signature.
The Rules said:
Profiles need to contain at least your primary system to assist others with helping you.

I didn't add my main pc to my profile cause I have not attempted a hackintosh install on and still not sure I will till i read/learn more. But I will add it.

EDIT: 2nd build details are not saving in my profile. Possibly cause my motherboard isn't listed in the pull down menus.

Hi there,

This is my first time, apologies for newbie question.

I have taken a Yosemite disk out of my dead Mac Book Pro and it boots OK on another Mac. I want to be able to multi boot with this disk.
Of the install instructions that I've read here, most show a fresh install on a USB stick. Do I need to do a fresh install or can I use my existing Mac HD?

Thanks so much.
Regards
R
