so i'm having that annoying Boot0 error which there seems to be a complicated fix for via some tweaks after install

how do you know which drives have 4k clusters before you buy them?
aren't most HD's today at 4k? i thought 512 bytes was outdated?
any way to convert the 4k drives to 512 bytes which i believe is what's needed for installing OS x?

these 4k are also known as Advanced Format...

or can i install Win7 instead of OS X (dual boot) onto this 4k drive, or will it too have same boot problem?

i guess i should use this as my 2nd HD,for data in optical drive

any insights, suggestions on this?

Go to hard drive manufacturers web site and read specifications for the product are you going to buy.
