4540s wifi problems on ML

I'm just trying to install this card, but with no luck so far. I'm running El Capitan and I did put the kext you provided in the link to the 10.11 and other folders. do I need to do something more?

Patched kexts must be installed to the system volume in /System/Library/Extensions.
