Did a fresh-install (2nd or 3rd one I've done) of Mavericks following RehabMan's guide closely. I had been running a stable Mavericks setup for about a month, then goofed around with Clover and decided to do a fresh install (formatted hard drive, then started again) back again with Unibeast, etc.

[Sidebar: there should still be an EFI partition on the newly formatted drive, yes? It's still there...never knew about it before I did all this stuff, but it looks like it just has an apple folder and no clover stuff.]

After fresh install, everything works fine. Wakes from sleep fine. But after it wakes up, could be 2 seconds after login or 20 minutes, it randomly freezes. Generally noticing it when using the trackpad, but console shows no trackpad errors. Here are some of my errors I'm getting in Console (bottom) and a few potential culprits:

IOBluetoothHostController: Bluetooth seems to work fine. I am happy with it off, honestly. Or at least it doesn't always have to be on. Using the 11/1 version of ioath3kfrmwr after I replaced the 11/9 one. 11/1 seems more stable oddly...

CoreAnimation: Not sure what kind of stuff I'm running into here. Was just looking at bikes on eBay....

Usually get this before the crash, some minutes or seconds before, but never notice a drop in connectivity while browsing : apple80211Request[10514] Unsupported ioctl 111

Any help is greatly appreciated! The hack has been our only computer for over a year, need it back and stable! Apologies for the length. Wanted to give detail to be helpful!

Still having freezing issues...

RE: @nguyenmac: "We already have a guide for Clover here, maybe a problem with wrong config/driver UEFI, because I see few users report it"

I don't think clover is still installed? I HAD installed Clover, but then reformatted the hard drive and reinstalled IOS. Do you think it's still there?

Inside the EFI mount is only one folder: Apple. No mention of Clover.

That being said, anyone else having issues with IOBluetoothHostController, CoreAnimation, or apple80211request? Pretty much always getting this with freezing occurring some seconds/minutes after. EC Reset seemed to help for a day or two.

do you have power saving on, and the laptop is going into standby ?
I just reinstalled and closing the lid worked fine, but opening it resulted in a frozen screen. I'd installed the sleep fix in the pro book installer, so when I went back and restored the fix to the original, all worked fine. (thats when it writes to the disk).
