Nope. Moreover, that wouldn't have yielded a better Hackintosh score because there's a thread cap in OS X. My CPUs are quad E5-4650 V1s, stepping C1 (clocked exactly like E5-2680 V1s {2.7 GHz base and 3.5 GHz max turbo} and clocked a little higher than the fastest E7-4800 V2, including the >$6K E7-4890 { http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Xeon/Intel-Xeon E7-4890 v2.html }). Quad E5-4627 V2s [ http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Xeon/Intel-Xeon E5-4627 v2.html ] would best my build by probably achieving a Geekbench 3 score of about 60,000. There's currently a 32 CPU thread max in the current OS X. So it will recognize all of my 32 real cores and no more, i.e., none of the hyper threads because they'd take it over the 32 thread limit. So I had to turn off hyper-threads to run all 32 real cores. With Linux, e.g., it recognizes all of the cores and hyper-threads. That accounts for the >70k Geekbench 3 score. The E5-4627 V2s have no hyper-threads, but are clocked 1.22x higher than my E5-4650 V1s. So, four of those 4627s eight core CPUs would be better for a hack.

P.S. I did dial back in bios the number of recognized cores to 4 per CPU and then hyper-threaded those 16 real CPU cores. Here's what I got: http://browser.primatelabs.com/geekbench3/compare/557286?baseline=551717 . To me, not impressive at all.

I was wondering if you have recently tried more than 32 cores with Mac OS 10.10.x?
Also by any chance do you now what is the max of RAM that OS 10.10.x can cable?
If we consider 6TB of RAM on supermicro MoBo, do you think would that work?

As of Mavericks the most OS X could support is 128 GB. Why would you want or even
need 6 TB of Ram ?

for large data files processing/calculations that needs to be done in a RAM Disk. Hence I was after a hackintosh with high number of cores and a lot of RAM.
