Hi, I am thinking of building a second hackintosh to replace my G5 Power Mac for basically downloading and storing software images. I have put together a list of parts that are $260 with everything. What is everyone's take on it? any advice?

Welcome to the cheap side of town A bunch of us run rigs with similar hardware and they work well. I'm running mountain lion on a cheap msi sandy board and it's great. Video cards are always a pain but give it a shot. It does have atheros lan so you may need a kext but it will work.
