Hello, want buy new RAM. I have the GA-Z270MX-Gaming 5 mainboard. In the buyer's Guide of August 2017, the Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 2400 is recommended, but I have seen there are also on the market the Crucial Ballistix Sport LT with 2666 MHz that cost 6 dollars more. My question which of this go better/or is more stable for Hackintosh?

someone correct me if I'm wrong but i do not think that stability is affected by the frequency of your ram?

In your case I believe both should work but it is probable that even if you choose the 2666 RAM your motherboard will default to a speed of 2400.

I use Kingston DDR4-2133 RAM for my current Z270 system and they work fine (2 16GB sticks + 2 4GB sticks for a total of 40GB).
