What's the difference between these two CPUs other than the name/number and box they ship in ?

You can see not much difference at all in the specs. They are going to perform nearly identically inside a PC with a similar motherboard and the same amount of DDR4 ram. The UHD 730 graphics is a typo. They are UHD 630.

The main difference is that the older i7 costs between 300 to 389 USD new on Amazon and the new i3-10100 costs just $122 ! Helps keep the cost of your new build down because the costs of cases, motherboards and power supplies have all gone up a lot the past 4 months.
