Hi, has anyone attempted this? I did some research but only found the newer ones. Am I missing something here?
I love the GigaByte board, don't like the ASUS. I am doing my mod right now. You should be able to use any of the 2006-2009 mac mini cases (G4, A1176, A1283).
I am using a Dynatron K2 cooler and 3D printing a replacement back panel which will be glued on to the base.
Motherboard width matches on the front holes, back panel will line up nicely. No front ports will be used on my mod, unless I solder a different USB3 socket on (dangerous).
3D printing a custom shroud to make sure the air exits the case.
I can post my STL files for 3D printing soon.
Good luck!
