Hello, everyone!
I think IMAC G4 transformation should start from the screen first, because the choice of the screen directly affects the choice of hardware, such as my transformation can only be LVDS interface Thin motherboard, can not be alone. IMac G4 screen is nothing more than three, first, retention arm, change a head, arbitrarily larger, higher resolution screen. Second, reuse the original screen. Third, reuse the original crystal screen frame, change the same size, higher resolution, better display LCD screen. This screen although it is still small, but the only way to retain the original design of the apple is not destroyed, for a better screen is also compensate for many problems, more important is to change the LVDS interface screen can be driven directly with LVDS motherboard. I chose the Q170 of asus, the CPU is i7-7700, the memory is 16GB, and the hard disk is samsung 960 evo.
