... doesn't fit i think

Finished my 2680 Z9PE-D8 Build the other day! Works great and will be posting a thread on it with LOTS of pictures within the next few days... The 2680s are AMAZING in after effects... and I can FINALLY play clips in real time in both AE & FCPX!!! (Something that was not always possible with my Mac Pro 5,1 2x QC 2.4Ghz Xeon)

Never thought i would go the mackintosh way, but after the let down by Apple on the last update... I figured sure I would rather spend 5k+ on a computer better than the current Mac Pros, and still cost less than the max config.

This was my first Hackintosh, so anyone who was thinking of going the dual Xeon E5 route feel free to message me with any questions.

it this mobo stable with a hack
how is it ?

It was ROCK SOLID running MacOS, but not as solid with win7.

I'm thinking of getting a GTX 690 build, how did it work for you? because i didn't even
know it was supported. I don't want to make any mistakes using an ivy bridge set up.

GTX 690 is a dual GPU card... Mac OSX only supports single gpu cards, and a very finite number of them

So what is recommended for the closest i can get to a GTX 690 hackintosh?
chimera 1.10 supports SLI, but will SLI work with 6xx series GPU's?

so I built the same hackintosh, just with half the ram

I did not get sound and USB3.0 to work though...
any pointers?

no I was referring to the original build with the X9DAI motherboard...
