Hey Guys,

Just installed a 1050 TI into my system first dedicated GPU in this system:

Gigabyte - GA-Z170N-WIFI Mini ITX LGA1151
Intel i5-6600K 3.5GHz
EVGA - 650W 80+ Gold Certified
Crucial - Ballistix Sport LT 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2400

I'm running OS X 10.11.6 (15G31)

I’m not getting anything from any of the HDMI outputs on my MOBO or card.

Any ideas?

I forgot to add that I'm using the identifier "iMac17,1" and under System Information > Graphics/Displays my GPU is showing as "Unknown"

@cpike, please update your profile (personal details) with your Motherboard or Make/Model, CPU and Graphics Card.

Support for Pascal graphics starts with Sierra.

Ok, after several more hours here is the solution to get a 1050 Ti working on a GA-Z170N-WIFI (for those searching for a solution.
  • Switched identifier to 14,2
  • Use Sierra (duh)
  • Uninstall all Nvidia Drivers (if you already had them setup)
  • In Clover:
    • Boot > nv_disable=1 UNCHECKED
    • Boot > nvda_drv=1 CHECKED
    • System Parameters > NvidiaWeb CHECKED
  • Save and Reboot
  • NOW you can install the Nvidia driver. Search for your OS version, download, install
  • Reboot
At this point you'll see your 1080 TI with all 4GB of VRAM in "About This Mac"
The above steps were the only way I could get things running smoothly and fix the "7mb of Vram" issue.

Thank you guys for all the help!!!
