I spent a lot of time looking for a solution to my airdrop not working on my Hackintosh and found several articles that referenced buying a particular PCI-Express card that housed the Broadcom bcm94360cd chip. The one most commonly referenced was from Mallaid/Toabaco. I searched for this card but found that it is hard to come by or fairly expensive. I heard others reference the board below (See picture), but no one had tried it to see if it worked. I just received mine today and when I put it in the PCIe slot bluetooth was fine but no wifi. I moved it to a dedicated 1x PCIe slot and it worked just fine. I have tested it to work with: Airdrop, Continuity, Handoff, and I have iMessage working as well (not that I think thats related). I just wanted to let people know that this card seems to be working just fine. Here are my system specs and the link to the card. I paid slightly less than $59.00.

Me too - I hope it'll fit my case. My PCI 2.0 1x slot is covered by my GPU and my PCI 2.0 4x slot is right beside the PSU.

Just got it today and IT WORKS! WAHOO!

One thing i noticed that might help anyone looking... Set the Airdrop settings in your Airdrop folder to EVERYONE:

Hi!
Does it work in PCi-e X4 slot on your system?

thanx

Hi All,

I just ordered the above card from ovilink on eBay; installed it into a PCIe 4X slot (on PCI 2.0 bus), and card seems to work well. OS X reports that Bluetooth is working and WiFi has all channels. HOWEVER, when doing a SSID scan, it does not seem as sensitive as my mid-2011 iMac WiFi card, not all 2.4ghz SSIDs in the area show up - only the strongest ones. Not sure why this is the case... my Android phone shows about 15 SSDs, where as the WiFi card only sees about 10.

Bluetooth is very stable, no hiccups when playing audio through a headset.

Handoff from iOS iPad to Desktop works. Still trying to figure out how handoff works the other way (Desktop to iOS).

Also, this card seems to have fixed interference issues I was having with my Logitech Unify keyboard (I was previously using a Gmyle Bluetooth adapter).

Hi,

I am using the exact same thing as you are, and my system is 10.12.3 running on a iMac 17,1 configuration. The wifi and Bluetooth works great and I can make phone call on my Mac. However, for some reason, handoff and "unlock with Apple Watch" does not work. Did you patch any kext or does it just work OOB?
