Can confirm on ASRock Z270 ITX/ac running macOS 10.13.4 that NGFF adapter + BCM94360CS2 work without any additional kexts or other mods

Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, AirDrop, Continuity, Handoff, all working perfectly!

Only thing to keep in mind is that the NGFF adapter + BCM94360CS2 are about twice as long as the stock Intel chip, so only half the shielding/metal casing can be kept. Bottom half (closer to USB ports) must be removed by pushing one of the pins in very hard with a small screw driver. Once you remove the top half of the metal case, you can install the NGFF adapter + BCM94360CS2 into the M.2 port without issue.

Has anyone here had experience with using these same cards/adapters on a Z370 mobo High Sierra build?
Have been planning to start on a Hackintosh for a little while, and currently am looking at the ASRock Z370 Pro4 - this includes some antenna ports, so I figured I may as well use the M.2 slot for a WiFi/BT card.

Or if someone has seen any threads regarding this, I'd appreciate being pointed in the right direction :)

Can I use that card (with the adapter on the first post) on my High Sierra Hackintosh?

CARD (https://www.ebay.it/itm/Apple-MacBo...031478?hash=item1a4bcf6036:g:hmkAAOSw0o5aq9ne)
It depends... you need a spare M.2 port to use it. My original Intel Wi-Fi card was in a vertical M.2 port so I was able to buy the card you linked and an NGFF adapter on Amazon and it was plug-and-play -- no new kexts, no SSDT, nothing.

What kind of motherboard are you using? MSI Z170 Gaming Pro Carbon?

I'm pretty sure you can then. You need a spare PCIe slot on your motherboard. If you want to use the same Wi-Fi card I did (I followed this guide: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...-gaming-i5-7500-16gb-ram-intel-hd-630.217992/), then you'd need to buy the following:

1) Broadcom BCM94360CS2 (802.11ac + Bluetooth 4.0)
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00PDNDQ0K/?tag=tonymacx86com-20

2) Mounting converter for Broadcom BCM94360CS2 to NGFF (M.2)
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KHRJVXW/?tag=tonymacx86com-20

3) NGFF (M.2) to PCIe Adapter
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MFGYAX6/?tag=tonymacx86com-20

BEWARE: I'm not 100% sure the above adapter + card will have enough space between the port of this PCIe adapter and the back metal plate. I thiiiiink they'll fit, but wouldn't know without them in front of me. Also I'm not sure how macOS will interpret them on the ACPI table, but if I was a betting man I'd say it'll work

Then mount 1) into 2) then assemble 1+2) into 3) so you have Wi-Fi Card -> Mounting Adapter -> PCIe Adapter -> Mobo

OR

If you want an alternative solution, a few people seem to have enjoyed plug-and-play connectivity with this:

Cheers!

Well i ordered the BCM94360CS2 card and the NGFF M.2 adapter as was described in this thread.
Installed into Asrock z370 Mini itx and.............
I got wifi NO bluetooth.
Funny thing was, on 1st boot I had both wifi and bluetooth working. On second boot bluetooth was gone.

edit: After i reseated the NGFF adapter and the BCM94360CS2, everything working again

Can confirm that this combo works like a charm with the MSI B150i Gaming Pro AC mobo. Swapped it with the stock m.2 card and used the original antennae, no issues. Continuity works 100%, including phone calls.

Just wanted to say that you were right about mounting the BCM94360CS2 with the NGFF adapter into a Fenvi NGFF PCI adapter. You will have to cut off a portion of the NGFF adapter but it does come with perforations. It worked perfectly for an older system i happen to have.

Awesome! Great to hear! Can you cut the NGFF adapter without affecting its functionality, or did you not try?

What are you going to do for your 'newer' system?
