Nice. For your BCM94322HM8L, what is the:
1. device_id,
2. sub-system-vendor-id
3. system-vendor-id

You can use IORegistryExplorer to get that information. It is vendor-id 14e4 (e4 14 00 00 in IOReg) usually associated with a name like PEX?, sits on a @1C,? address and has Airport,Brcm4... attached
IOReg is here [Guide] How to Make a Copy of IOReg.

A screenshot like this is most helpful and has the info requested. Note: your IOReg will not have ARPT@0.

Hey Toleda, aka the HDA mastermind.

I will get you the Ioreg info later today or tomorrow. There are two cards that i tested a full size one and a half size. I will get Ioreg info for both.

On another note man we can really use your help on our Samsung Slate project. We have been having issues with the ALC269. Voodoo does a crapy job and KP the machine. But either way here is the link to my thread. http://www.tonymacx86.com/lion-laptop-support/35084-samsung-series-7-slate-tablet-75-complete-10-7-4-a.html Check it out sometime.

Hace a great weekend.

I just got from eBay an "ATHEROS AR5BHB92" for less than $10 (incl. shipping) and it turns out working perfectly OOB (so to speak... there was no actual Box!).

I installed it on the Gigabyte PCI adapter that came with my GA-Z77X-UP5 TH (replaced the module that was on it), rebooted and the WIFI menu appeared right away. I opened Network Preferences and it said a new device was found, acknowledeged that and I had WIFI working and detected as a regular Airport device. It is picking up the 5Ghz signal from my Time Capsule.

I got this card from a US Seller, received it within 3 days, all for $8.94. Here is the "Buy it Now" auction, it may be expired by the time you read this but they had many in stock: http://www.ebay.com/itm/350553868136#ht_548wt_1156 (or search for "ATHEROS AR5BHB92").

Attached are a pict of the module + some IoReg screenshots, hope that's useful...

This is a thread about Broadcom not Atheros. Your reply does not answer the questions you quoted. There are several other Atheros half mini PCIE working OOB threads.

The title says "100% Vanilla MINI PCIe WiFi Card tested on 10.6.8, 10.7.4, 10.8.1", sounds on topic to me. Maybe you could change the title.

Anyway I found this post very useful, great deal on the card.

Very lucky, it works because it is Apple branded. Seller may not realize it is worth more.
NICE! Hey I have another that came out of an HP but, its full size and it it's also BCM4322.
I'll see if I can get an IOReg of that for us too.

I did get lucky I guess....Here is a pick of me being a nut job.

I wish I could get a BCM4313 to work. I have a great combo card with BT4.0 thats a BCM20702.

But for now in this mini rig I have that BCM4322 and a IoGear BT4.0 usb dongle (BCM20702A0 now ML supported).

I'm going to get a bunch of these BCM4322s now that you said they are worth it!

Thanks for posting this- we're researching and testing for the best replacement card for the CustoMac Mini 2012 mini-PCIe slot. The included card's bluetooth works, but wifi is not supported.

Have you had any success with a Broadcom based wifi/bluetooth combo 1/2 mini?
