I have a Dell Optiplex 380 fully working with OS X 10.9 using a USB Wi-Fi adapter. However, since a real en0 connection is required for services like the App Store, I've been trying without luck to get the machine's onboard ethernet, the BCM57780, to work. In 10.8.5, this edited IONetworkingFamily.kext used to work, but has not worked at all since I installed 10.9. I'd be very grateful for any help from anyone with knowledge in this field, thank you very much for your time!

I was just given an Optiplex 380. I got Mavericks installed, but I still need the untibeast stick to get it to boot. Which Multibeast settings did you use?

Thanks,

Brian

Sorry if my response is late, I've been busy. I think I just used the latest version of Chimera with the flag that disables caches and forces all the kexts to load from scratch. Forgot which one this is, I think it's "-f" or something, it's been ages since I had to mess with it.
