10.9 Auto Sleep Doesn't work. [SOLVED]

I can manually put the computer in sleep mode, but it doesn't do it automatically.

I installed PleaseSleep and that seems to do the trick.

Is there a way to fix it without using a third party app?

Check for assertions preventing it:
Code:
pmset -g assertions

I'm having the same problem as OP. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Try disabling Legacy Usb Support in bios and report back. That was usually the fix.

Try changing the darkwake setting. I think I remember seeing that darkwake=0 messes with the auto sleep.
