10.9.2 ALC898 AppleHDA.kext?

Hi all,
So I've been a bit hesitant to reinstall the AppleHDA with Multibeast 6.1.0 because I noticed that in the release notes for 10.9.2, Apple said that they fixed an issue with static sound. I suffer from this issue (especially with Chrome open) and want to know if there's a way I can patch the existing 10.9.2 AppleHDA for ALC898 (Z77X-UD5H mobo) without installing from Multibeast.

Can I use this patch with 10.9.1 to fix the static sound or do I need to update to 10.9.2 first? I am also having the crazy Chrome static problems.

10.9.2 includes a new AppleHDA. You'll need to update to that in order to fix the issue. Patch only allows you to have sound via DSDT or HDAEnabler

Not true, there are five enabler techniques.

I've only ever done it through DSDT or HDAEnabler but Toleda is the man and knows much better than I do. Follow his advice!
