10.8.5 - AppleIntelFramebufferCapri(8.1.6) backtrace
Hi,
I just updated from 10.8.3 to 10.8.5 with the combo updater.
Everything booted fine and my system is well recognized within System Information [but my whole system is laggy as hell. Even typing this text lags, not to speak of scrolling in Firefox. The same for games - the framerate is roughly 1/5. I suspect the graphic card is not currently used due to several exceptions occurring during boot] <- This was a one-time issue, fixed by rebooting. However, the exception when booting still persists, though it doesn't interfere with the functionality of my system:
com.apple.driver.AppleIntelFramebufferCapri(8.1.6)[<long hex number>]@0xffffff7f824dd000->0xffffff7f8253dfff
dependency: com.apple.iokit.IOACPIFamily(1.4)[<long hex number>]@0xffffff7f80d52000
dependency: com.apple.iokit.IOPCIFamily(2.8)[<long hex number>]@0xffffff7f80897000
dependency: com.apple.iokit.IOGraphicsFamily(2.3.7)[<long hex number>]@0xffffff7f80dbb000
IOCommandGate::disable() called when not gated
Where to start troubleshooting?
edit// It's strange. I upgraded my 2.0.1 Chimera to 2.2 too. After doing this and approx a thousand reboots, 'performance' is back. It feels snappy again and benchmarks perform as expected. But the exception backtrace still shows up on every boot... I'd like to get rid of it, but don't know how...
