10.8.3 Problems, Stuck at Apple Splash (Spinning)

Thanks for all this good info. I have the same hardware conf as you do. I thought your BIOs Ver F14 was a typo as mine is F4...in reviewing the Gigabyte site regarding updating the BIOs they seem to warn against an update esp if the OS is not stable....what are the advantages with updating? Also I updated to 10.8.3 but now my system won't shut down...it keeps rebooting. Everything else seems OK. Any ideas? Thanks.

u are having a gfx issue first upate bios via flash drive only mbr/fat32 then if still having issues use flags GE=NO PCIRoot=1 npci=0x2000 the reboot loop is a known issue with gigabyte mobos

I'm almost having the same issue with you, my specs

GA-Z77M-D3H
i7-3770

I've tried to download the latest Chimera 2.0.1 and install into the bootable SSD (instead of USB), but it doesn't make any difference, still stuck at the grey apple with an wheel there....

So, would you please provide any more hints? Thank you.

brand new build, loaded unibeast, and on the restart to attempt multibeast i get the hanging apple screen....tried the Graphics enabler line and set my BIOS to use internal graphics...also swapped vga and hdmi connections for my monitor, nothing changed
