I'm using a GA-Z77X-UD5H board with 2700K overclocked to 4.8GHZ.
Since this board does not have an option called Real-Time Ratio Changes in OS, what should be done in bios fore best functionality of the SSDT files ?

Also would the included overclock SSDT file work for 4.8GHZ or will it max out at 4.2 GHZ ?

Cool- that did it. Thanks for attaching that!

MSRDumper PStatesReached: 16 26 31 34 35 36

Not as many states as listed for the 2500k in the OP, but that's for a different board, etc.. Also, huge thanks to H8TR for the pm's and assistance last night. He ended up making p-states edits on my dsdt and I'm good to go.. 9060 on geekbench. Thought I had read that 2500k should get more like 9500, but I can't complain.

Hi MacMan,

I don't understand.
Your SSDT file for overclocked CPU doesn't work on my system (16x only)
But after sleep, it works???? (42x)

How is it possible?

When you 1st boot you will see it at 16, you need to run something to get it to move to a different P-state.

I like to launch App Store to get it to bump up :D

OK,
but when i run geekbench, system stay at 16x (6000 instead of 14500)
