Hi,
i have been trying to upgrade my hackintosh for a few months now sadly i have not been able to get a good install. :(

Motherboard:GA-X58A-UD5
CPU: i7-930 2.8Ghz
Graphic Card: PNY Nvidia 9800 GTX 512MB
Ram: 6GB 1600mhz

The only issue i have right now is that i can not use my hdmi output of my graphic card to show image. i have to use vga connection to get get any image or but to mac os 10.6.8.

1. I install mac os 10.6.3 using iboot 3.1.1.1

2. update to 10.6.8 combo

3. ran multibeast 3.9 (install the following)
—> UserDSDT
—> System Utilities -> SELECT ALL
—> Drivers & Bootloaders -> Kexts & Enablers -> Audio -> Realtek ALC8XX -> ALC8XXHDA
—> Drivers & Bootloaders -> Kexts & Enablers -> Audio -> Realtek ALC8XX -> AppleHDA Rollback
—> Drivers & Bootloaders -> Kexts & Enablers -> Disk -> JMicron36x (aka GSATA) -> JMicron36xSATA
—> Drivers & Bootloaders -> Kexts & Enablers -> Miscellaneous -> FakeSMC
—> Drivers & Bootloaders -> Kexts & Enablers -> Miscellaneous -> FakeSMC Plugins
—> Drivers & Bootloaders -> Kexts & Enablers -> Miscellaneous -> USB 3.0 – NEC/Renesas
—> Network -> Linx2Mac’s RealtekRTL81xx Ethernet —> Drivers & Bootloaders -> Bootloaders -> Chimera v1.5.4 r1394

4.install Official NVIDIA Drivers (from the downloads) http://www.tonymacx86.com/viewforum.php?f=125

5. i have to boot by using "-f"

On 10.6 you should not need either the npci flag or the PCIRoot flag on an X58A-UD5.
In your boot.plist, try changing

<key>Kernel Flags</key>
<string>npci=0x2000 PCIRootUID=1</string>

to

<key>Kernel Flags</key>
<string></string>

and see if that improves matters.
