Same card as freituk:
Brand= XFX
Model= HD-687A-ZDBC 1GB DDR5 aka Black Edition Dual Fan (OC)
Device ID= ID=0x6738
Multibeast= 3.5.2, Extracted only ATi 1.6.32.12, Chimera 1.1 (via pacifist)
Method= Chimera 1.1 (uses Andy's fix), GE=yes
Framebuffer= Autodetect, so not needed, but probably duckweed
MacOS= 10.6.7
Reported by= colorfuel
Notes= Use OpenGL.framework from latest 10.6.7 MBP update to replace old OpenGL.framework. This corrects the brightness (gamma?) problem with Valve Games (eg. Portal 2, Half-Life 2 etc.). Here are the files:

Installation:
On a system already running chameleon RC5 on separate boot partition, with GE=yes, DSDT and several kext.
- Extract ATi Drivers 1.6.32.12, Chimera 1.1 boot file from Multibeast 3.5.2
- Extract OpenGL.framework from latest MBP (10.6.7) update. (Needed for Valve Games)
- Replace Chameleon RC5 r699 with Chimera 1.1 boot file
- Replace ATi drivers from S/L/E with new ones (using kexthelper)
- Replace OpenGL.framework from S/L/F with new one
- Repair rights
- shut down
- Install 6870 into PC
- Boot with "-F" et voilà.. everything works just fine.
I dont like to edit my DSDT with GFX Framebuffer, because it would make it useless if ever I had to swap the gfx card with another one.
