I lose USB like you as well, but I also boot up to garbled graphics and can't see anything. I have a VEGA 64 as well.

Not sure what you mean by that latter part...

Simply copy/replace (you might want to keep the existing versions just in case) CLOVERX64.efi and BOOTX64.efi with the versions from 5108/7 and that will put your Clover version on 5108/7 depending on which version you chose to download.

haha, I mean that we installed 5109 version that upgrades other files as well apart from CLOVERX64.efi so I am asking you that have you kept other files as it is and just replaced this efi file?

I simply changed those two files; I didn't see any other files that had changed that I would have needed to update as well.
