As the title says, updated to 10.14.5 and now have the preview crash and jpg quick look not working issue. Have installed the latest Lilu and WhateverGreen, as well as the NoVPAJpeg kexts, to efi/clover/kexts/other, but still no good. Was working fine under 10.14.4

Current build is an ancient but running Q9505 core 2 quad, smbios is 14,2. Tried with a later 18,2 as suggested somewhere, but the system wouldn't boot. Back to 14,2.

Any ideas why no jpg quick look and Preview crash?

To add: when installing the kexts to /other, do we also have to install the .dSYM files that come with them? I have, maybe that's the issue?

(edit; deleted those files, still same problem)

Well, seemed to have fixed it. Changed bios setting from PEG/PCI to PCI/PEG, and bingo.
