My PC has a Haswell E3-1231 v3 with no iGPU support. The dGPU is an Asus AMD RX 580.
Currently I am using the iMac 13,2 SMBIOS with 10.14.5. But hardware H.264 and HEVC decoding are not supported according to VideoProc. So I tried to change the SMBIOS to iMacPro1,1 according to various guides, but I get a black screen when I boot. I think the video output is broken because I can still access file sharing services even after black screen.
I also tried MacPro6,1 but iTunes constantly crashes.
I tried iMac14,1 and iMac14,2 as well, but jpeg files cannot be opened by Preview.
None of these SMBIOS config enable hardware decoding.
I used Lilu and WahteverGreen and used shikigva=32 and Shiki-id=Mac-7BA5B2D9E42DDD94
I have read this guide here ( https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...-imac-15-or-imac-17-system-definition.183113/ ) but I am not sure if this works for iMacPro1,1.
