Hello all,
Successfully installed MacOS Sierra on an old Dell Optiplex 780 containing a PNY GeForce 9400GT 512MB following this guide here.
In order to boot into the installer, I had to use the bootflag "nv_disable=1". The OS recognizes the card in About this Mac, but I was unable to improve the screen resolution.
I installed web drivers and restarted with the appropriate bootflag (nvda_drv=1) but it will load the OS halfway and then restart and continue in that boot loop.
Then, I un-installed the web drivers and tried the fix posted here.
Still no luck. Same boot loop. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!
